Colombia Travel Bucket List – Playa Cristal

MY TRAVEL EXPERIENCE: 

Vocabulary : Tayrona, small bay, crystal water, calm, nature.

Playa Cristal is a small bay in Tayrona National Park I would like to show you this calm place with crystal water. I used to think all beaches look the same, but last year I visited Tayrona and I fell in love with this bay, it offers peace, clear water, and beautiful views for simple travelers.

WHERE TO GO (Places to visit)

Vocabulary: shoreline, snorkel area, viewpoint, palm shade

Shoreline & Palm Shade: You should walk along the shore, check out the palm shade, and take in the sea colors, you can sit down and relax.

Snorkel / Viewpoint: You can go up to a small viewpoint and look over the bay, you should try out easy snorkeling near the safe zone.

WHAT TO DO (Activities)

Vocabulary: swim, snorkel, photos, relax, boat

1. You can swim in the calm water and walk around the bay to take photos.

2. You should try out snorkeling near the reef, because you might see colorful fish.

3. If you lie down on the sand, you relax with the sound of the waves. 4. If you rent a boat, you will explore other small beaches near Tayrona. TRAVEL TIPS: Vocabulary: park rules, trash, plan, water, safety.   You must respect the rules of Tayrona and take care of nature.   You have to bring water, sunscreen, and a hat for the hot weather. You don’t have to carry heavy gear, light things are enough.  You mustn’t touch the coral or leave behind trash.
